Black History Month Essay Contest
In celebration of Black History Month, Region South is excited to announce the Black History Month
essay contest, which is open to all K-12 students in Region South. This contest allows students to
celebrate the significant contributions of Black Americans throughout history. This is an excellent
opportunity for students to showcase their writing skills and deepen their understanding of the influential
figures and events that have shaped American history. Through writing, students will express their
thoughts, celebrate the rich cultural heritage and reflect on the remarkable African Americans who have
shaped our world.
